MP Client: TV Client Hostname GREYED OUT - why? (1 Viewer)

hi,

i have installed MPServer and it works well with DVB-T.

i have installed MP1, works well for most functions, but TV doesnt, i.e. it doesnt let me enter the hostname of the server.

i have tried search and manuals, have installed all as per the documentation with no joy.
hope someone can give me a hint.

i'm new to MP - but very keen on it - thanks in advance!

If this is a client and tvserver is on another pc, did you install the tvserver plugin with MediaPortal.

i have installed the mp server version on a separate pc/server and it works fine there.

on the client pc (separte), i have installed mp1 which does shows myTV, but doesnt let me configure the hostname of the server.

sorry if this sounds dummy?
