MP crashes a few times a day (1 Viewer)

Since a long time MP is crashing once in a while. But the last days its become worse.
The last crash was when MP was just sitting on the homescreen doing nothing.
A window with 'Mediaportal stopped working' appears but MP keeps working (sometimes)
In my system logs is mostly reports its due to tsreader.ax.

I've added logs from two crashes and some event errors logs

I hope someone can help me.

So at first glance it looks like you're having some issues with TsReader.ax.

Can we tell what the problem is?
Well, I've had a look... but it is strange. It appears like you're not watching TV when these crashes are happening.
I wonder if the event log is misleading us with this "TsReader.ax" reference.

Questions:
1. Are you able to try disabling plugins to try to narrow the problem?
2. Is there any consistency about when the problem occurs?

I agree with mm, but just in case, try TsReader.ax v73 from here - https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/experimental-tsreader-development.102693/#post-811296

One of the bug fixes in that version is for a crash when closing channel preview in TV server config - although your logs look OK

Thanks guys for taking your sparse time to look at my problem. Much appreciated
I will try to debug with original plugins only.
Most crashes occur when going from radio to tv or vice versa. We sometimes blame wifiremote for it. But i am not sure.
This evening Johan (johanj) will try removing a command which sends the Radio NowPlaying info to Eve. We had some problems with Radio before so who knows this will solve the problem. Lets hope.
This is what Johan wrote: 'A now playing message is created no matter who starts radio. It seems
that it looks for info in the epg and that this fail.'

Well, it was me that initially added the nowplaying Radio message in WifiRemote. It's removed now in a version that Joost just received.

@ mm: you asked for consistency in the problem. I narrowed it down to TV and Radio. Especially when switching from Radio to TV.
That could also declare the tsreader.ax error.
I added logs from the last crash.

I can relate the crash time to the MediaPortal.log entries, but unfortunately the TsReader.log has been overwritten with a later version....

Can you try using TsReader v73_dev from here - https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/experimental-tsreader-development.102693/#post-811296 - it's basically the MP 1.4.0 version (including a crash bug fix) and it has a different logging system so the log file shouldn't get overwritten.

I use the new tsreader v73_dev for a couple of days now and havent had any crashes since then. But i will continue to provoke my system to crash
I will keep you posted.
