MP Crashes when install Haali Media Splitter (1 Viewer)

Hi!

Got a problem that drives me crazy.
Runs Vista 64-Bit (Phenom X4 9850, 8Gb Ram, Radeon 3870X2 with catalyst 8.9)

When i Try to play an .mkv file the screen turns black and MP Crashes and then you get back to desktop.

Installed newest release of MP and Power DVD 8 (runs the cyberlink codecs in MP)
Installed Haali Matroska Splitter 29.03.2008
Installed fddshow 64-bit (tried remove this but no change).
Tried to install fddshow 32-bit instead and run with those codecs but know change.

If i remove Haali media splitter the screen also turns black but goes back to my movie folder again. (I know movies can't play without the Haali splitter right). But because it crashes when i install the Halli splitter i think it's have something to do with that. What am i doing wrong? PLEASE HELP!

Dosen't anyone have a clue about this??? Have tried reinstall my computer but still same problem. Tried with an older version of Catalyst but no luck.
The files plays fine in MPC and VLC.

First post that came up with google, by the way, can definately recommend shark007's work, i use his Vista codec pack on my Ultimate32 version.

Thanks for your answer, i finally solved this yesterday. I had something to do with the ATI automatic settings in Catalyst. But now it's perfectly!
