MP crashing when playing any video (1 Viewer)

I just upgraded to the new release. From that point forward, every video crashes MP. It seems like it tries to play the video as the screen switches from the menu screen, but I just get a pop-up window telling me the program has stopped working.

MP worked perfectly before this upgrade.

Of course, I tried to go back - but am stuck with the same problem.

I have uninstalled everything - including all codecs - and reinstalled fresh - but still have the same problem.

I am baffled.

Before I wipe all of the drives and install windows and everything else from scratch - can someone look and see if I am missing something?!?!

I believe I fixed my problem.

I went through and delete the cahe then reinstalled.

Seems to be working . . .
