MP Does not see my tuner card (1 Viewer)

basically, i have the card working in ati's software, but MP doesnt even see it when i try to configure my tv.

Doesn't look like it's supported. Looks like you have a gaming system setup there. You may want to look into a better card since you have the specs to back it up (or use multiple tuners for more simultaneous recordings)

so.... the tv wonder ve is unsupported?

that's interesting.

anyway, i really like the card i have, and im not really interested in buying an additional one, or a better one. i know the card i have now is a "POC", but for what i use it for, its cool.

if i did decide that a new card was needed, would i need to get an ATI with the 600 chip ( i think that's what it's called) or a hauppage?

Go to Supported cards and read "How to add a Card to list"
Follow the instructions and you may be able to get your card working plus it will be added to the Supported list.

ok im trying to follow the instructions in the graphedit program.

here's my issue:

add the Microsoft DVBT (or DVBS / DVBC) Network Provider under Insert Filters and BDA Network Providers.

i dont have that in the filters menu.

Before we go any further we need to get whats called a moniker of the Capture Filter. Under the BDA Receiver section you should see a Capture Filter which relates to your DVB card

dont have this either. do i even have a DVB card?

Next we need add your cards specific BDA Capture & Tuner Filters. These should be under BDA Receiver component and BDA Source Filters respectively

neither of these are there either. what am i doing wrong?
