Hi, I am new here

have installed MP without any problem, TV card detected, channel scan successful everything like a day on the beach, however, when I start MP I see only a window with my screen background captured inside. All menus are dropping down, but clicking on them has no effect. Can anyone help

Hi & welcome,

Looks like an issue concernng your graphics card, or the setup thereof. Make sure you use the latest driver for your graphics card, and make sure you run MediaPortal on your primary display (and disable any cloning options etc.). Maybe also try running dxdiag and perform all tests, to see if somethings wrong there.

EDIT: it could also be related to one of the required fonts, since the application exception error occurs while loading the fonts - if I'm not mistaken during loading of the "dingbats" font.

installed latest drivers and checked that dingbats are availeble. Then installed RC4 cleanly. Still the same problem with the same errormessage.

I am clueless

any further idea
