MP doesn´t work at all :-( (1 Viewer)

Because of the existing problems with the used MediaCenter XP I used, I tried to install it on another computer with XP Prof. but there I can´t even watch TV or see MPEGs, AVIs....

When entering the configuration I get these annoying alerts (see attachments).


Anyone an idea? (btw: I do not see a possibility to uninstall SP3 on this computer)

Concerning the frist popup:

you have to install the dvb fix:

Concerning the second popup:

it's not there without a reason,
so installing an official version of a SP is strongly recommended

OK, the patch solves the first popup...

....but how the hell do i install a SP3 if somebody already installed a SP3beta? [totally_confuesd]

Actually.... it doesn´t work better ;-(

OK, I just installed on a fresh Windows XP Prof with SP3, DVB-Fix, Cyberlink DVD and now have the problem, that I cannot play Videos (the screen turns black for a second and goes back). When trying to watch TV, it says no signal.

I´m using the Terratec Cinergy USB XE Stick. The strang thing is, when I start Terratec Cinema Home, I a hear perfect audio signal, but the video is crypted (like if I would be using the wrong Codec).

When I put the stick in my second computer, it works fine.

I realy do not know what to do :-(

I was just looking for the logs and realized that the folder "application data" is missing....
