Hello,
I'm new to MediaPortal and trying to get my LifeView Fly DVB-T Hybrid (analog & digital) to work. pic

It does not appear in the list of supported TV capture cards, but Fly DVB-T (without "hybrid") does.
Does somebody already have a workable solution for this card or (failing that) how are the chances to get it working with MP?
I already checked the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml and found a few cards with a very similar hardware ID. Even edited one "LifeView FlyDVB-T DUO (Digital)" which had same 'ven', 'dev' and 'subsys' numbers but different 'rev' to have the same 'rev' number.
With the effect of having MP config program finding and accepting the card but going on to state "couldn't create graph" or something.
I'm ready to do some reading and work out a solution myself but I don't know what to read exactly, so would you please give me some pointers...

Hello Windoofer,

I found this thread and this one on your problem. The second one seems promising, if it doesn't work the first one should help to get at least the digital part working.

Hi again,

I tried GraphEdit with this result. Translated that (and my device id) into this CaptureCardDefinitions.xml entry:

<capturecard commercialname="Lifeview FlyDVB-T Hybrid" capturename="713x BDA Digital Capture"

devid="ven_1131&dev_7133&subsys_33065168&rev_d1">
<capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"></capabilities>
<tv>
<interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"></interface>
<filters>
<filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" checkdevice="false"></filter>
<filter cat="tunerdevice" name="713x BDA DVBT Tuner" checkdevice="false"></filter>
<filter cat="capture" name="713x BDA Digital Capture" checkdevice="false"></filter>
</filters>
<connections>
<connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice" sinkpin="0"></connection>
<connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"></connection>
</connections>
</tv>
</capturecard>

Result: "Unable to create graph for this device!!"

So, please help me.

btw: ProgDVB, PowerCinema and LifeView's own "DTV" all work.
