When using the older version of media portal i just installed the codecs i needed to play the videos and without anything else it would use them to play the appropriate videos. Now, no matter what i seem to do i can't get MP to open any of those exact same files. WMP can open them just fine and play them perfectly because i do have the right codecs installed. When i tell MP to play a file it just kinda pauses for a second like it's going to try and load it. then it stops and doesn't do anything. I couldn't find any fixes for this in anything. anyone got any ideas?? it worked flawlessly on the previous version i was using. i can't remember off the top of my head which version it was.
