I've been happily using MP for some time with version SVN Build 12842 (03.02.2007 / 18:26 CET). But having a little time I thought I should do my bit and test a recent build. With the latest build I've found that on resume from suspend MP often exits. I think this may have something to do with the changes to support quality settings for Hauppauge cards and may be specific to the hybrid card I have. I'm getting the following error in errors.log which seems to be new...

2007-03-02 11:27:07.984375 [ERROR][11]: Hauppauge Init failed Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
2007-03-02 11:27:08.625000 [ERROR][11]: Hauppauge Init failed Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

To reproduce with the above hardware
    1. Setup MP to use PowerScheduler (I've seen the problem with re-init tuners on and off).
    2. Schedule a program to record in say 10 mins time.
    3. Allow Powerschedule to suspend the system.
    4. When the system resumes to record the program somtimes MP is not running (not the case in the attached logs but I have seen it do this).
    5. Allow the recording to complete and MP to suspend.
    6. Resume the system using the remote control.
    7. MP is not running (from the logs it looks like it wakes up but then something bad happens during the Filter loading).

Switching back to 12842 everything is fine... Let me know if you need form info.

I am also using the latest SVNs and a Hauppauge Nova-T-500 dual DVB-T. When the system resumes from hibernation MP is closed and the scheduled recording fails. If I re-start MP it works fine until the next time the system goes into hibernation. My wife says that MP has also shut down a couple of times when in use -perhaps a related issue?

I'd take a more detailed look at this but I think the changes to the Hauppage support that I think cause the problem make use of a DLL and the source to that DLL is not in the mp svn. If anyone can let me have access to this source I may be able to take a closer look (I've built mp in the past and investigated a number of WebEPG and powerscheduler problems)...

I'll take a look at it. The source of the dll cannot be distributed.

I have exactly the same issue with latest SVNs. I got this errors with exception when i schedule recording on some channel while watching different channel. If i stop recording or recording finishes then close MP, exception raise together with error here mentioned.
But what is more strange is that I dont use any Hauppauge in my system ;) I use just TT Cynergi 2400i (dual DVB-T). But i gues this is something related to the CORE.

    Thanks...this its driving me crazy...

Just a note, it seams to also be related to the time it takes to initialize the card. I say this because if you start MP and go directly to the TV home it also closes MP, but if you wait a while and then go to TV it works fine.

I also have a Nova-t 500 with yesterday's SVN, and experience exactly the same issues. Unfortunately I don't have any logs available at this stage.
