I've been happily using MP for some time with version SVN Build 12842 (03.02.2007 / 18:26 CET). But having a little time I thought I should do my bit and test a recent build. With the latest build I've found that on resume from suspend MP often exits. I think this may have something to do with the changes to support quality settings for Hauppauge cards and may be specific to the hybrid card I have. I'm getting the following error in errors.log which seems to be new...
2007-03-02 11:27:07.984375 [ERROR][11]: Hauppauge Init failed Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
2007-03-02 11:27:08.625000 [ERROR][11]: Hauppauge Init failed Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
To reproduce with the above hardware
1. Setup MP to use PowerScheduler (I've seen the problem with re-init tuners on and off).
2. Schedule a program to record in say 10 mins time.
3. Allow Powerschedule to suspend the system.
4. When the system resumes to record the program somtimes MP is not running (not the case in the attached logs but I have seen it do this).
5. Allow the recording to complete and MP to suspend.
6. Resume the system using the remote control.
7. MP is not running (from the logs it looks like it wakes up but then something bad happens during the Filter loading).
Switching back to 12842 everything is fine... Let me know if you need form info.
