Just noticed it yesterday, when trying to download online update info, one of the links started downloading 89MB of data.
Someone must have mistakenly added this to the list.
Probably requires one of the devs or moderator to fix that...

    Edit: Thanks for resolving this!

Come on this can't be happening again? At least make some checks to MPEI that the update files are really MPEI update.xml's...

Asked about it in IRC and it seems to be mp-french-pack25, whatever it is.

can you try "File" -> "Clean Cache" in Extension Manager please and then update the list again? This issue was def. fixed from the list days ago but there may be leftovers in local KnownExtensions.xml

Now it's fixed again. I reported this issue last week in the IRC, and someone fixed it. But then it definitely happened again (with a different file size).
    Anyway, thanks for fixing it:)

ok, ported the french logo-pack to a new ID so it shouldn't be a problem anymore for others with cached data.
It wasn't really a new/another issue, just the mpei-package was updated by the author in between so the link in broken XML grabs the new one too (while the old one was already dl by you so cached).
