mp freezes when fast forward or skip chapters (1 Viewer)

Hello everybody,

i've been using mp for several months now and it works almost perfect for me....

got one tiny bug what's bothering me for weeks now........mp freezes when i fast forward or skip chapters on a dvd.
And i need to restart the computer.

changed codecs already but no luck.
i do not play dvd's itself but from my external disk but that should not make a diffirence.

anyone any idea what this could be?? and how to fix it?

I have exactly the same problem.

Once this happens I have to turn off the machine, when do so it comes up with 'DDE server not responding' before powering off cleanly.
(I don't get an opportunity to create a log file under these circumstances)

This has occurred for RC1 and RC2 using Windows XP SP2
