MP freezes when press button at DVD menu (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I watch a lot of DVDs with MP. If I press the back (small arrow), the green button or some other buttons on MCE remote when MP shows a DVD menu and waiting for input, it will always freeze or take a long time to respond. Is this normal? What can I do to avoid it?

I would try changing the DVD navigator.

Configuration. DVD->DVD Codec. Second dropdown is DVD Navigator.

(Personally, I've only GOT one option there, so not sure it will help.)

Also, any particular DVDs, or is it all DVDs? I have a similar issue with some Sony DVDs ripped in ISO format that have really nasty copy protection. (Kung Fu Hustle and Superbad are the worst.)

See setup -> DVD -> codec
Try disable DXVA (not confident that this fixes things, but it only takes a couple of sec. to find out ).

Does it happen to every DVD!

And please: ALWAYS attach logs when you are having issues.

Thanks. I will try that when I get home tonight. I have quite a few home made DVDs that always return to the main menu when one section is finished. Maybe I should change the DVDs structure a bit.
