mp gets crazy (1 Viewer)

hi, i need advice on this.
i start mediaportal and if i'm watching a dvd , every 5 minutes the movie stops and goes to the begining of the movie.and i have to press enter again aand go to the chapter i was before, 5 minutes later it does the same thing.
in between of this changes if it is on 4:3 letterbox it starts changing to next frame size, and then the other and so on.
i uncheck everything on frame size and check only the one that is 4:3 letterbox but it keeps changing on itself 4:3 to 4:3 agaain 4:3 or it advances 30 second by itself
or sudenly i'm listening to stream radio and it opens the my weather pluging showing me whatever i have in there.
or sometimes it goes to previus window.
i took out the battery from my imonpad remote control but it gets crazy anyways.

i have the ati catalyst 8.8
xp pro sp3

anyone?

i think i got my own answer.
mp started getting crazy after i installed ati catalyst .8.8
i went back to 8.4 , the one that came with my board ga-ma78gpm-ds2h and so far mp is working fine.
i listened to my raadio stream and was ok, music videos also ok no changes in mp were seen.
gonna play a movie to make sure.

Also check wireless anything, ie keyboard, mouse even microwave

Have had some very strange signals interfering with various functions reported by users.

ok ,i put another movie and aafter 24 minutes the screen changed its size from letterbox to original, 10 minutes after this change, mp changed to my weather , i put it back on my dvd and letterbox size and 24 minutes later the same changes again from letterbox to original size, 10 minutes again to my weather.
solved,
it is the my keys plugin that is making the mess.
on my imonpad remote control i have some keys proramed as shortcuts so i used my keys plugin for that.
i deleted my keys plugin from mp windows plugin and from mp process plugin and there were not problems when i was watching a movie now to make a test.
no changes were noticed on mp while watching the movie.
but if i go back to ati catalyst 8.8 then the problem is that i can not watch my dvd movies from dvd rom and cant watch .flv music videos downloaded from the internet.
i have sound but a black screen is all i see
i solved this by doing the following :
on ati ctalyst 8.8 i went to 3d config and put the setting on best performance and i got video back.
if i set it as best quality the video goes black again.
but
if i set it up again as best quality i have to go to mp config , direct show filter control , video renderer setting and check enhanced video renderer then i got dvd movie video back , but it appears in both screens , my 1080p extended monitor and my vga monitor and caN not watch my .flv videos from the internet.
also in mp config mp direct show filter mpv decoder , enable planar YUV MEDIAA TIPE has to be unchecked
so i have to stick with ati catalyst 8.4 because i can set up 3d config as best quality and i got all the video in my 1080p SCREEN (i have mp running in this screen only , vga screen side is for normal pc use only) where is intended to be and can watch .flv video nicely and also i dont have to use the enhanced video renderER and dont need to uncheck YUV MEDIA TYPE ON MPV DECODER.

there must be some weird stuff in this new ati 8.8 software , i know with this 8.8 release they solved the problem of not being able to watch power dvd on exxtended monitor but mp is what i use so i dont mind this.
i hope some day i can use mp to surf the web , and get my mail , and plaay my gaames like gears of war, jerico and others.
so far those plugins are giving me headaakes, can not get my email stuff and if i use web like google for example i do whatever i want but once the web stuf is started can not go back to mp, mp has to be turn off and then back on.
and i can turn on the games from within mp but they aapear on my vga side , not where mp is running
