Sadly it seems the problem of MP's GUI locking up on loss of signal hasn't been fixed since RC2.

I thought perhaps the problem of TVService shutting itself down had been fixed as it didn't do that the first time, but the next time I tried to tune into a channel with weak/no signal it did. I've tried to capture that occasion in the second set of logs attached. I didn't get any "No signal" message when trying to change channel on this second occassion, just a frame from the previous channel came up and stayed stuck on the TV, until I pressed Stop, which eventually produced the "Stop LiveTV?" dialog. After doing that I loaded TVServer Config which was when I noticed that the service had stopped itself.
I was having problems with the signal, so I disconnected the aerial lead to check it and after doing that, MP's interface became completely non-responsive and stayed stuck on the same black screen no matter what I pressed.
As before, the taskbar icon on the monitor showed the title changing, from eg MediaPortal - Guide to MediaPortal - Home etc, but the actual display on the TV didn't change.
Interestingly, I found that pressing Alt+Enter to change from fullscreen to windowed got the GUI working again. Unfortunately, after doing that, once I put it back in fullscreen if I clicked on anything, such as the desktop, systray icons or pressed Alt+Tab, so that MP lost focus, it disappeared from the TV, leaving only my XP background displayed, so I had to close it and restart it to fix that.
