mp hangs alot (1 Viewer)

hi
im using a asus pundit p2 with amd 4850e cpu
2gb ram
no tv card

it hangs immediatly when i open my music or my movies, i couldnt find anything when i searched,
its just freezing,

then i have to kill it..

can it be something with database?

What graphics chipset are you using, Asus pundit p2 has a few versions including the infamous 690g, there are some issues with various graphics drivers, so do a search using video chipset number.
