The Picture would freeze on the last frame of the video, with a little spinning gear in the middle. - I've tried four different ATI Catalyst drivers: 10.7, 10.11, 11.5 and 11.11 but it behaved the same. - it was the same with MP 1.1.3 and 1.2.0b- it happens with and without Haali Media Splitter- it happens with and without ReClock renderer- it happens with and without StreamedMP skin- it happens with and without TVSeries and Moving Pictures plugins- it happens with and without CoreAVC codec- I've never seen this happen with XBMC (my son uses it for his movies/cartoons)- I've never had a hang when playing videos via VLC or MPC-HDI've used MP 1.1.3 for more than a year and this sort of thing only started happening around 3-4 months ago. It might have something to do with one of the Windows 7 updates, since that's the only thing that was happening to the system during that time. (aside from ATI Catalyst Video driver updates).I don't know what else to try so I think I am going to clean re-install Windows 7 and give it a shot from there. cheers.</blockquote>
