MP in Vista Sidebar? (1 Viewer)

Would it be possible to create a Vista-Sidebar-Gadget showing a minimized MP, or acting as a secondary display to MP?

What i'd really love to do is, while using the HTPC for PC-stuff , have the current TV-program shown in a small window in the sidebar.

one way for achieving this could be to have a generic gadget that is able to display an application's Live-Preview Tooltip (that pops up when you move the cursor over an Application in the Taskbar).

I couldn't find something similar to this, but the guys at CodeProject have started an attempt on that here:

At least it shows how it could be done.
