MP installed....but some problems to fix now!! (1 Viewer)

Hi

Finally managed to install MP on my new WIN8 OS....but problems are present, and some help would be appreciated!!

1. TV sound....a 'chainsaw' like drone is present.
2. Web EPG only grabs a few channels.
3. "No Free Tuner" message appears.....does this relate to TV Services not starting/finishing correctly?
4. When attempting to play video....system either freezes....or dwells for 30 secs (approx) before playing.

I should add that I imported TV Server settings from my earlier WIN7 instal.....perhaps this was a bad idea!!?

I've included freshly made logs...(The mind boggles!!!)

Try not using the MP Audio Renderer.

Thanks MM....
could importing old settings have anything to do with my probs...considering I've moved from Win7 to Win8?

Switching from MPAR seems to have done the trick!
Went for a new install...and this time, created new settings from scratch....and Bingo, all is fine.

Can't help thinking that importing settings from an earlier install was contributing to the problems I experienced?
