Hi guys,
MP has just started crashing on me during start up.
I upgraded to Windows10 approx. 1 month ago. I have had some instability since then, but as of last night, I ca't get through the boot up,

Logs attached.

Thanks in advance

    Hello Michael

    Thanks :)

The log files say your MP-TVSeries database file is corrupt:
    [collapse]
    [2015-09-10 22:12:10,931] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - SQLiteClient: Closing database: TVSeriesDatabase4.db3
    [2015-09-10 22:12:11,241] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - SQLiteClient: Closing database:

You can follow the instructions here (ie. repair or delete the database file) to fix the problem:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/16_Support/Troubleshooting/Repair_SQLite_Database

Note: you are dealing with TVSeriesDatabase4.db3. In other words, all instructions should be applied to TVSeriesDatabase4.db3 instead of VideoDatabaseV5.db3.

Hmmm... I followed these instructions, but I don't think I executed the SQL repair process correctly.

I end up with a file named "good.db", with a filesize of 0.

Most likely I'm making a mistake.... I'm a noob at this.

    Okay.

What was the original file size of TVSeriesDatabase4.db3?

I can probably only advise to try to follow the instructions again and reiterate what I said in my previous post. You can either repair OR delete the database file and reimport your media. In other words, if you're not able to repair it successfully, perhaps just delete it and reimport your media.

    Hope that helps. :)

    orig file is 2,273 HB.

I have an old version of the db (backup) from 4 months ago? would I be better trying to use that, rather than deleting it altogether?

Replaced the DB file with an older version and it's now working again.

    Thanks for your help!
