On many of the MP screens are hidden menus. Sometimes the menu is not instantly accessible, such as in icon view of music or videos, when you are on other side of screen from the menu area. Is there a function to call in Remote setup or something that will display the menu when you press the Menu button on the Remote? It would be cool.

    Thanks

usually the "more info" button will offer up any "context" sensitive menu's if they are available
Re-program your remote "menu" button definition for the "more info" function.

Thanks for the reply... but I already use my INFO button for that... which gets the various overlays. I'm speaking of the menu that is to the left of the screen, sometimes an action menu that displays when you select the LEFT button (or UP when you are in filmstrip view). It would be nice to have a quick, one button solution for getting to the menu to change "views", etc., when you are 6 to 12 key-presses away on the right side of the small-icon view. I don't see any other use of the remote's MENU button, save getting a DVD menu when running a DVD, this seems would be an appropriate use within Media Portal.
