MP Needs to be restarted to playback a recording (1 Viewer)

I have been running MP a while now and after my 1.02 upgrade all seemed to be working fine for quite a while, but for some days now I have been getting the problem that when I go to playback a recording or video it says codec error cant play. If I restart MP the problem goes away and all works fine for maybe some hrs or until the next day and then suddenly the error will appear again. Where can I start to try and solve this problem?
