I can use the rest of MP at this stage, it doesn't freeze anything, just all channels are blank with no sound. I then need to restart MP to get the TV working again. When I quit MP it also gets locked in memory and I need to kill it from the task manager to restart it.</p><p></p><p>I accidently found a way around this - if I start timeshifting I can change to an MPEG channel, then switch it off and the channel still works. But it will get the same error if I try and switch back to AC3 without turning timeshifting on again. So it just seems to be a problem switching between those two audio formats while viewing normal TV.</p><p></p><p>I have tried using every different audio codec, no success. I have also deleted all my TV channels and rescanned, this has not helped either.
