Anyway it's a little bit strange, I tried ffmpeg command line with several dvr-ms files recorded by MediaPortal and framerate is always wrong (from 0.8 fps to 52 fps).Is it a mediaportal bug or a known ffmpeg bug?Moreover, could it be possible to full personalize bitrate? I'd like something between 1024 and 2048...F.p.s. I noticed that crunchie produced 12 bpp avi, while with ffmpeg avi are at 24 bpp. Now I'm trying with YUV420p that should be 12 bpp. I'll let you know.p.p.s. multipass with mencoder is broken, due to obsolete -pass parameterp.p.p.s. I think it would be rather good having the possibility of selecting quantizer for xvid compression
