Hello.

It is possible to add new option in to PowerSheduler - "Restart HTPC after sheduled Wakeup" ?
I am beliewe this can fix problems like:
- black screen after sheduled wakeup, or no signal reported by TV
- MP crash after sheduled wakeup, VC++ errors
- possible system hangs if you create recordings list for 7day and go to holidays :)
- etc.

Simply restart MP after wakeup is not enought sometimes...

Should be working in this steps - Start HTPC, plan new sheduled recordings, HTPC goes to stand by. Now auto wakeup, restart HTPC, MP start, finish recording, go to stanbby againg.

What you guys thing about this new option?
I am beliewe it can be very usefull, becouse i have (and lot other peoples acording to forum) lots of problems lately with MP after sheduled wakeups.

PS: Sorry for my english

I can restart the whole HTPC by creating a .bat file that has "shotdown -r" line and then using a task scheduler to run this script on selected time interwal.

I guess most wake ups are either 1. Scheduled task for epg grabber 2. Scheduled TV Recording
To solve problem 1. you can just schedule "shutdown -r" in schedule task to run after the epg grabbing.
To solve problem 2, you could try using For The Record, FTR plugin (This replaces the TV engine), i think this allows you to run commands/batch files after recording.

    Just an idea anyways...

I also agree that this would be a great option to restart PC every time it resumes from stand by...just to get rid of some recordings error, and channels unable to be tuned correctly...

please consider adding this feature to Power scheduler plugin...

    kind regards,
    Andrea

    Hello,

I recently found this tool that may help with resume problems:
    Hibernate Trigger

it can run a file on resume from standby...
you can create a BAT file with this command inside and then make it execute by HibernateTrigger

    shutdown -r -t 05

you PC will restart everytime resuming from standby...
    I'll try it today...
