I have a problem that has been with me for a couple of months now. Whenever I shut down MediaPortal using my remote, the screen freezes. Only when I move my mouse a bit will it return to the Windows Desktop. I have tried changing some of the Remote Control settings in MP Config, as well as the Video Renderer settings, but this doesn't solve the problem. Also, I have checked for new drivers for the Remote, but there are none.

By the way; I'm using a Logitech Harmony 525 via the Hauppauge HVR-1300 IR-port. For everything besides MP I use the original irremote.ini which I've tweaked a bit. MP itself uses HCWhelper, naturally.

Any thoughts on what's going on here? I'd love to hear it!

    Re-try

...since this problem is still with me in Mediaportal 1.0, I wanted to give it some attention again. As I said before, Mediaportal does exit when I move my mouse or when another program is running (e.g. BitTorrent). In other words, it seems that if there is a program that initiates after the shutting down of Mediaportal, the screen stops freezing. So now I am thinking, is there a program that I can initiate after shutting down Mediaportal? Something easy that might close itself after a while or something. Any ideas anyone?
