MP Splashscreen WIN7 problem (1 Viewer)

Windows Version: 7
CPU Type: intel M 1.7Ghz
Memory: 1GB
Video Card: Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset Family

Ok, that's the point. I used mediaportal since a year under winXP without problems, the aplication works perfect but, recently i needed upgrade win version to windows7 and the apocalipsys starts. After installation, mediaportal says me i need to activate aero, but i cant, the pc is too old to use aero interface. Without aero, i run the program and... "CHIN" nothing, mediaportal freezes in "initializing DirectX" forever. I press "ctrl+alt+del" and the fullscreensplashscreen" process not response. Then i think, maybe, its an aero problem... ok, im going to force aero interface... restart pc... ouhhh yeah, i have aero inerface, im sure that mediaportal works right now....... "TURURU!!" same problem!! mediaportal freezes and splashscreen process not response... y tried with older mediaportal versions and nothing works by same problem. In windows XP works perfectly but i cant return to XP version.

PLEASE!! I NEED HELP!! I NEED MEDIAPORTAL!!

I'm sorry to here that you're having problems. First, have you installed the drivers from Intel for your onboard graphics? If not then you should do that. You will possibly find that the graphics are not powerful enough but I guess you can at least try...

Yes, i have installed an official intel drivers.. but maybe is the real problem because the drivers are not supported windows 7 and i had to install in compatibility mode with XP(SP2... or 3 i dont remember this).

I try to run mediaportal without fullscreen mode and finally shows a box message:

"switching to the reference rasterizer, a software device that implements the entire direct3D feature set, but runs very slowly"

click "ok" and say the next:
"Warning: Nothing wil be rendered. The reference rendering device was selected, but your computer only has a reduced-functionality reference device installed. Please check if your graphics card and drivers meet the minimum system requirements. a software device that implements the entire direct3D feature set, but runs very slowly."

and... if my card not support the minimum requirements... why works perfect the same mediaportal version under windows XP??

Can i change the media portal graphic mode??

There is a link for a vista driver that should work with your chipset.

thanks, but apparently my driver version is most recently than this versio, and in the same case, this versions only was installed under compatibility mode... Thankyou so much but, any other idea??
