My MP was working perfectly for months (apart from the odd random hang, but only very rarely). Then last night it just wouldn't work - it crashes with a Windows "MP has encountered an error and needs to close" message a few seconds after startup, even if it's just left on the main menu without doing anything. The only thing that would have changed between working and not working is AVG updates and possibly EPG updates. Windows updates are set to manual, so wouldn't have happened on their own. I tried a few things without any luck: - Deleted the webepg xml file in case that was corrupt or something. - Checked for any silly/corrupt scheduled recordings (the log says something about recording). - Uninstalled and reinstalled MP in case it was a corrupt EXE. It all seems to work fine for the few seconds it'll stay running - if I go straight to live TV the tuner card looks to be working as it should. I'm stuck - any ideas why it should suddenly go wrong with nothing apparently changed? Logs attached. Thanks in advance. Rob [/QUOTE]
