MP support for imon pad remote? (1 Viewer)

I have a new imon pad remote combined with a imon vfd display.

now: the remote works with a setup file for mp with the imon software. good.
but: than the display doesn´t show anything.

When i switch off the imon sw, the display shows mp infos with JoeDaltons plugin. good.
but: The remote doesn´t work

So: I can get the one or the other to work with MP, but not both at the same time.

Any chance to add this remote to the natively supported ones?
It is quite common and bundled with silverstone cases or mcubed and a couple of people in the forums seem to have this hardware.

I can still use my hauppauge 34 button remote+the imon vfd, but as the imon pad has a lot mor buttons it would be nice if I could use them.

I had this problem. Simply switch your IMON VFD software to plugin mode and the remote and display will work perfectly.

Hi Dazzyb2k3. Got it finally working together. Thanks for the tip.

Also managed tonight to go to hibernate/S3 and wake up via the remote power button. Only thing left now is that the display stays active in S3 mode. Do you have this issue, too?

Unfortunately this is a known problem with the external display plugin. It's supposed to auto clear but doesn't. There's a post about this along with the workaround that I use:

Let me know if you need more detailed instructions. Like I said in the post, not ideal but neatens things up a little.
