Since the RC I've the problem that MP starts at "Loading Window Plugins" for over 5 minutes when "Videos" is enabled.
Update to final does not help.
I've tried reinstall with a backup of my DBs and I've delete all films and shares, but nothing helps.

    Any idears?

    Hi Crix1990

There aren't a lot of clues in your logs. It looks like the biggest delay is here:

    2011-09-21 17:41:16.096400 [Info.][FilterChecker(5)]: FilterChecker: Found quartz.dll from 20.11.2010 located at C:\Windows\system32\quartz.dll
    2011-09-21 17:41:16.100400 [Info.][FilterChecker(5)]: FilterChecker: Version of installed quartz.dll: 6.6.7600.16385
    2011-09-21 17:44:50.086400 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: xml:C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\StreamedMP\videoOSD.xml image id:350 width:0 height:0 gfx:-
    2011-09-21 17:44:50.149400 [Warn.][MPMain(1)]: GUIWindow:OnWindowLoaded: 'C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\StreamedMP\videoOverlay.xml' is missing control id 0 (window property: _videoRectangle)

This makes me wonder if the problem is something to do with StreamedMP. Please try to reproduce the problem in "debug mode" - debug mode will disable your plugins and skins so we can determine whether there is a bug in MP or in one of the plugins or skins.

    1. Find the "debug mode" link in the "Team MediaPortal" folder in your start menu.
    2. Start it.
    3. Select option 1 "report a bug...".
    4. Click "proceed" - this will start MP.
    5. Close MP once it has finished starting - this will trigger the tool to create a zip file containing all your logs on your desktop.

If the startup is faster then that proves it is not an MP problem. In that situation I would suggest you make sure you are using a version of StreamedMP that is compatible with MP 1.2.0, and if the problem still persists then report the problem to the StreamedMP developers. Otherwise, post the zip file that was created by the tool here.

    mm
PS: that tool is known as "the watchdog". We prefer you to use it when providing logs since it automatically includes system event logs and DirectX diagnostics etc. You can find more info about it in our wiki -->here<--.

Sorry for the late answer, I've issues with my internet connection, hope it's stable now.

I've created the log as you wish, but I've notice that it has the problem, too.

    Hmmmm...
In those logs the delay is here:

    2011-09-28 00:01:14.306800 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: GUIMusicPlaylist: Default Playlist loaded

    2011-09-28 00:01:14.423800 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: opening video database

    2011-09-28 00:09:15.800800 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Main: Exit requested

I think we might need to get Deda's comments on this one...

According to log everything is normal, videodatabase opened normally, only missing entry in log is
    "open folderdatabase".

Q is what was happening between this time span:
    2011-09-28 00:01:14.423800 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: opening video database
    2011-09-28 00:01:14.485800 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: video database opened
2011-09-28 00:02:46.517800 [Debug][MPMain(1)]: Main: Idle timer is entering power save mode after 300 seconds of inactivity

Do you have some shares on network?

Can you post 3 debug logs for the following cases:

    1. Disable MyVideos plugin - Start MP and when GUI show exit
    2. Enable MyVideos plugin - Start MP and when GUI show exit
    3. Enable MyVideos plugin - Start MP and enter My Videos and exit
