I use GSpot's Codec Information Appliance software to analyze ATSC recordings prior to burning them to DVD. With MP, I find that, regardless of which video codec I select (under SETTINGS / TV set-up), all ATSC recordings (files) end with dvr-ms. Reading files ending with mpg, GSpot informs: - Video: PROG, I/L, TFF, BFF, PPF, etc. - Audio: AC3, kb/s, CBR, VBR, etc I would prefer not having to convert dvr-ms to mpg and am wondering if it is possible for MP to record mpg files versus dvr-ms files. Any suggestions? Thanks, Martin MediaPortal Version: 0.2.3.0 RC2 MediaPortal Skin: Blue Two Windows Version: XP SP2 CPU Type: Intel Pentium D 2.8GHz HDD: WDC WD3200KS / 320GB Memory: 1GB 667MHz Video Card: ATI X1300 PRO PCIe16 256MB Video Card Driver: ATI 8.401.0.0 TV Card: ATI TV Wonder 650 TV Card Type: NTSC/ATSC TV Card Driver: ATI 6.14.10.232 MPEG2 Video Codec: MPV Decoder Filter MPEG2 Audio Codec: MPA Decoder Filter Remote: ATI Remote Wonder
