MP Tray (2 Viewers)

Hello all
I have an issue with MP tray and would be extremely grateful if someone could help me resolve it. As you can see from the attachments I have checked the remote option and auto start with MP Tray and I'm using a Microsoft MCE RC6ir remote (see attachment). I have MP set to minimize to GUI once loaded, when I hit the 'start' (green windows button) to launch MP it reuses to do so. If I launch Media Portal with the mouse or keyboard all functions on the remote work fine, I am even able to minimze MP to tray and launch again from my remote as often as I like. It just won't do it on the initial launch???

I am confident I have everything set up correctly and my remote worked fine on my previous set up so I know there are no compatibility issues etc.

I have attached logs and filled in usercp.............If this helps?

Might be stating the obvious, but have you gone into the 'remote' section and checked to 'use Microsoft MCE remote or keyboard'.

Deinstall ehome driver from usb controller settings, tick box remove driver from system, then reboot, plug ehome receiver back and it should reinstall.

Does it work now.

Finally resolved it. I did a clean install, uninstalled the ehome driver and reloaded it as you said, loaded plugins one by one, everything went fine until I loaded Showtimes plugin. As soon as it installed it MP would fail to load from the tray, not sure if this is a problem with the plugin itself or a conflict with other plugins? My brother uses Showtimes and says his works fine. But he is not using Online Videos. Anyway hope this prevents other people from having the same issue.
Bit gutted, as I am a massive fan of the showtimes plugin but never mind.

Morning all
I discovered last night that although showtimes plugin was definitely responsible for causing my audio no video (black screen problem) It was not in fact responsible for my MPTray not working. I have discovered that if I launch MP from the desktop shortcut created by MP installation, MPTray launches fine, every time. However, if I launch MP from program files, media portal etc or the MP shortcut I have created in my win7 taskbar, it will not work. When I press the button on my MC remote I can hear the sound for the action button but nothing launches.
PLEASE does anyone know why the f*ck this would happen. I have uninstalled MP downloaded it again and reinstalled but I get the same thing again.
