OK I have to be doing something wrong in my setup. I cannot get IR to change the channel while in MP

Setup:
MP RC 2 w/ TV Server 3
MCE Remote w/eHome transceiver
D11 Directv Box connected via Serial
Channel Change done via exe file (really a perl script compiled to exe, it works)

Everything works fine in test, I can set any channel in setup, click test and it works fine. But when I start MP goto TV, nothing is sent when I change channel.

So is there something I'm missing to turn on or configure?

Unfortunately I have not gotten it to work, and I haven't been able to devote time to it either.

I have, unfortunately, been encountering the opposite problem. Using IRSS 1.0.4.2 RC1 I was able to get channels changing using the TV3 plugin and the TV-Server for TV except using the TV-Server I am having to add all of my channels manually then map the channel to a card, then map the channel to the Guide (using xmltv plugin for EPG). So with this method I can make channels change but it is so tedious to setup the channels I have yet to do so plus I've yet to get it to receive picture, only audio.

Using the TV2 plugin and the builtin TV service I can get TV just fine but I can not get the channels to change. I set everything up in the TV2 plugin and I can change channels using the test feature of the plugin but when I goto live TV it wont change, nothing even gets sent to the blaster. I checked the logs and the plugin is returning an unhandled exception whenever a channel change occurs.

I tried downgrading to the 1.0.4.1 version but that one refused to properly learn the codes from my remote. It would say it learned the code but on using the test the STB was not responding to the code.

I am using an eHome wonder tuner card (old I know) through RCA connection and MediaPortal 1.0 RC2. For the remote I am using an MCE remote with the MCE receiver/blaster.
