I have RC2 with CVS updates. Over time I made about a million changes in Configuration to get my setup working properly. If I need to reinstall or upgrade to RC3 and to final release when it comes out I'd like to backup all my custom configs and restore into new version. I uderstand that configs are stored in various XML files and media data is in database files. Question is, can I just backup / restore entire config by replacing files? Is there a list of all files which could possibly store user config settings? Anyone done this successfully? Any issues after? Thanks in advance.
