MP with Telus IPTV (1 Viewer)

Just curious if anyone has MediaPortal working with Telus IPTV and if so, can you answer the follow:

1. Are you using a Telus STB or did you manage to get it working with a PC IPTV Card?
2. What card are you using if not using the STB?
3. Are you getting HD TV and if yes, did you have to call Telus to have encryption (Macrovision I think) turned off?
4. Did you run into any challenges with the EPG?

Just thinking about switching from StarChoice Satellite to Telus IPTV and thought I would start my research here.

If the IPTV uses encryption w/o a smartcard (or even with) I would never do the switch.
(I currently have IPTV w/o SmartCard , and I am really sad (read: pissed) that I can't get out of the deal. So I'm currently o analogue via STB )

There is a plugin for IPTV that works (if ch. are not encrypted) - both for TVServer and TVE2.

I know it will require some sniffing of the network traffic of the TTV STB to get it to work.
