AW: MP1 EVR Presenter/dshowhelper community development

I'm not shure if this might or could help me. Sadly i've an old Plasma whichb doesn't know about 24hz. It can only do 50hz or 60hz. Is there a way to play Blue Ray content without these bad microstutters?

It's off-topic, but run at 50Hz and use ReClock to force playback to 25Hz - I can't play actual Blu-ray discs on my HTPC at present, but I always play 24Hz files by this method. You can't bitstream audio - it has to be decoded in the PC so ReClock can resample it. If the +4% audio pitch shift bothers you then ReClock can correct this too.

thanks but do i then need your .dll?

It's not essential, but I think my version handles the 1:2 FPS ratio + ReClock situation better than the standard RC2 dll

    Br,

What problems are you seeing with HD ?

    Tony

HD sutters heavily, and shift+! is not showing statistic so i cannot tell exact values, or frame drops.
I'll test again after family is sleeping, with more different content.

    HI,

    I tested V10 for you.
Im experiencing the same stuff. But with me its not good for sd and hd. For both counts that the start is often not good. drop/double/drop etc. when FF once ore twice it can suddenly be perfect. FF once more and the perfect sync is gone again.

Sometimes it seems pressing shift+1 improves the playback. BUt after 10+ seconds it goes bad as well.

What log would you like? Anything special? Play FF FF FF etc with sd+hd?

    Kind regards

    Br,

You could try the attached version too - this is identical to v0010 except it uses the normal 5 sample buffers instead of 10.

Just a normal play evr.log would be useful.
