AW: MP1 EVR Presenter/dshowhelper community development

Great to here that some developers also use a gt430. I have major problems. 10-15min without any error watching hd tv.
And then the render time jumps up and down. I checked everything what can caused this but didn´t fin anything. Hope the need dshowhelper will help.

Many thanks ... i will give a feedback

If the extra buffering delay is a problem for A/V sync I could try just presenting the frames/samples earlier to compensate maybe ?

Sounds much better than the audio renderer / decoder delay. I guess it will add minor slowdown for the startup - max bufferedFrames * frame duration. But it is not an issue. Max because the decoder is most likely able to decode the frames faster than just at the presentation speed.

I'm curretly applying little audio delay in codec, because I'm routing SPDIF audio output to a separate A/V receiver, and with new TV (Samung Led) I was seeing some delay because of Samsung TV postprocess delay... so there's no much problem in adding some more ms of delay if I appreciate them... I'll tell you this night.

    bye!

Attached is dshowhelper dll v0057 with A/V sync compensation incorporated (as discussed above) + patch file for the accurate_sync branch sources.

I can't say I'm sure v56 is guilty... but yesterday night I got some MP crashes (windows "stop working" message) while watching live-tv (when zapping) that I didn't have before...

Owlsroost, I was using 1.2.0 dll (v45 if I'm right) till yesterday night... Do you thing v56 could cause this crashes?

I'll do some more in deep testing and post, with new v57 also....

Tried v056 yesterday. It solved all my HD stuttering with my GT220! The green line is almost flat now and no more jumping around! No AV sync problems at all and I watched TV all evening yesterday.

    Thanks!

I will test v057 this evening!
