MP2.1 Skin migration (1 Viewer)

I just downloaded 2.1 today and installed it (perfect timing since 2.0.4 had just crapped out on me: all OSD's would not appear or would appear incomplete). But found out as soon as I started that my favorite skin (Razor) is not fully supported

What I want to know is what would it take to migrate Razor to the new format so I can keep using it without worrying about a crash. I recently read in another post that the skin editor is outdated with 2.1's skin format., so I guess that's not really an option.

I am not just asking outright for someone to do this; if it's needed, I can lend a hand. I know my way pretty well around photoshop and have no problem delving into xml files but I need to know what to do to make the upgrade.

basically spoken: take the xmls from B2 and compare them with Razor's. Make sure all Controls are there and still use the same IDs. That's it ;-)

ETA: one person = 2-3 weeks until Razor would be perfect and finally finished.

Start with References.xml (Global effect) and see the wiki pages regarding skinning. Use the Refresh plugin often.

At one point confusedpenguin was trying to update Razor and posted a couple of updated files (thread here, last couple of pages). As you will see, the posts are about 6 weeks old, so the skin may be dead again. You may also want to pm confusedpenguin before you get started, some of the work he has already done may save you some time.

I'm actually working on updating Razor to 2.1. I'm a bit careful to post about it since I have promised alot before and failed to deliver, but I'm starting to use MP alot more again which is a great motivator.

Raven, your message is a godsend.
If at all possible maybe it would be a good idea to upgrade the msn "people" icons with a newer version?

Unfortunately this is as big as an image I've found of him, but I'll keep looking.

    Thanks in advance.
