MP2 pre client crashes (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have installed MP2.1 pre on two machines, one client/server and a client.

On the client/server I can view live TV but MP2 crashes when I try to watch on the client.


Codecs are all the same on both machines and the client has no issue streaming FHD content from the server.

Hi,
Its possible some of the dependencies weren't installed correctly. Can you try [re]installing the VC++ x86 redistributables. I think you need the following as a minimum and make sure to get the x86 versions.
Download Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 from Official Microsoft Download Center
Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 from Official Microsoft Download Center

Thank you for the reply,

I reinstalled the above and it did not work.

I installed a MP2 client on another machine and that works, so there is a issue with the first client.
I uninstalled MP2 and reinstalled it and It has the same issue.
I can play anything from the server except live TV.

After some troubleshooting it seems some files were corrupted by a Windows 10 update.

Once they were sorted I uninstalled all Visual C++ packages and MP2 and reinstalled MP2.
