MPA Decoder - how disable output matrix??? (1 Viewer)

I do not understand how to set audio decode from AC3/DTS to PCM audio streams with a output channel mapping "AS IS" --> untouched!!!

if I have an incoming stream AC3 5.1 I would get a 5.1 PCM ... if I have a 7.1 AC3 stream I would like to output a PCM 7.1!

unfortunately MPA decoder ask me to set the channels (no AS iS option), but I send PCM stream with HDMI to my receiver

Hi Mitchan81

You could use the AC3Filter instead of the MPA decoder - it gives you the "as-is" modes that you want (as well as the downmix options).

i can't use AC3Filter in the audio configuration because not allow me to select AC3Filter for decoding AAC audio streams

if i do not select the same audio decoder for the two options (mpeg/ac3 and AAC) automatically Mediaportal set the MPA decoder as default

Can you give me an example? I use Monogram for AAC and AC3Filter for MPEG/AC3. Why can't you do that?

however, if i not set the same audio decoder in any case MediaPortal set default's mpa decoder with any audio streams (mpeg/ac3/dts/aac...)
