    Hello @tourettes,
I have two sound devices within my htpc.
A hdmi device for movie/TV/blu ray ect.
An analog Stereo device for music and dvb-c radio.
As dvb-c radio and TV are using the same audio device I have used the "Audio-renderer changer" plugin to switch the devices.
This plugin does not work together with MPAR and BASS-WASAPI so I thought it would be a good idea to have an action within MePo to switch the audio devices directly in MPAR.
It would be possible to map it to a remote button and to change the output on the fly.

    What do you think?

It will be quite complex to allow the MPAR itself to change the device on the fly (different audio HW runs at different clocks etc.). Also the functionality itself is not so commonly required, combining that to the quite complex implementation such feature wont be available at least in any near future.

What is possible is to change the used WASAPi device for the MPAR in registry before the playback is started. This could be done with some 3rd party plugin (just write one registry key and start playback).
