I use MPC-HC as an external player.</p><p></p><p>When I playback a 1920 x 1080 16:9 (mediainfo confirms this is the aspect ratio) bluray movie on my monitor (also 1920 x 1080 16:9) or my LCD TV (also 1920 x 1080 16:9) MPC-HC somehow plays the video with black bars on top and bottom.</p><p></p><p>My expectations is that it will play fullscreen, this is correct right?</p><p></p><p>When I scale to a 16:9 tv the screen gets filled like it should, except the movie gets stretched and doesn't look natural anymore.</p><p></p><p>So my question is:</p><p>Why doesn't play MPC-HC this video fullscreen?</p><p></p><p>I have tried several options with PnS, touch window from inside / outside etc, but this doesn't help.</p><p></p><p>Strange thing is that a 2.40:1 movie does gets played fullscreen.</p><p></p><p>I hope someone can help me out. <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite8" alt=":D" title="Big Grin :D" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":D" /></p></blockquote><p></p>
