Hi:

I have just upgraded to MP 1.1.0 today, from MP 1.0.2. I had some issues with the install, but I did managed get it to install in the end. As I was having 1.0.2, I had to do a fresh install, which was fine.

After successfully installing MP 1.1.0, I downloaded some updated plugins and skins (X-Factor R678), which comes in a MPE1 installer package. When I double-clicked on the MPE1 file to install the skin, I received an error "invalid package", and the installation fails. The same goes for a couple of plugins, i.e. Fanart Handler, etc.

Does anyone has any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks.

geov

Try running the old "MPInstaller.exe" inside the "Program Files/Team MediaPortal/MediaPortal" directory.....and select "install local extension".
