Synopsis: I can't find a good mpeg2 codec for this system, I have recieved various problems, 1) After pausing the screen will flicker lighter and darker 2) After pausing the status window that goes over the movie to tell you how much is left will not turn off 3) picture will not fill the screen (Cyberlink codec) 4) Skipping to the next chapter will crash the computer

These problems don't all appear on the same codec it seems like every codec I try has a different issue, I would like to know what is the best codec that you use?

Set your video render to VMR9 and try the nVIDIA Pure Video decoder. I use that exclusively (for TV, DVD and videos) and it is excellent!
