I saw that BBC is sending free HD at Astra 2D in MPEG4-format...

What tv-card do i need to be able to watch MPEG4 broadcastings?
I looked at this card, it seems it support HDTV, but not MPEG4 =/

Is my computers specs enough to watch live HD over MPEG4?

The Twinhan card says that it is DVB-S whereas I believe to receive BBC HD you need a card using the newer DVB-S2 standard.

On searching the forums there does seem to be an issue with CODECS as you need to be able to able to use MPEG4 for HD but MPEG2 for SD.

is there any idea to get DVB-S2 if you just are going to watch free DVB-channels from astra/eurobird? I suppose free channels isn´t going to send in S2?

Does the Hauppauge WinTV HVR-4000 card work in MediaPortal?

I believe looking at other posts there are problems with the HVR-3000 (which is similar to the HVR-4000, except no DVB-S2) getting the analog tuner to work as it uses software encoding.

Has anyone got the DVB-S/DVB-S2 and DVB-T tuners to work correctly in MP (and/or TV engine3) ?

    Thanks
