Composite or co-axial You're right about the co-axial not being the right connection. However, my connection is not incorrect either. My settop box only has a co-axial port (hence my mention of co-axial) but I have a co-axial/composite connector which is then plug into the composite connector on my PVR250. I also have a RCA video out and another RCA audio out on my settop box. Using this video out, I am able to get video on the channel where I have defined the external channel tab when I switched to this channel for watching TV. However, there is no sound output which is expected since I have only connected the video out to the PVR250. I don't have a corresponding RCA audio in on the PVR250, hence I'm not able to pass audio to the PVR250. As a result, I am fairly certain the problem is not with the cable connection from my settop box to my PVR card since I can view whatever TV channel my settop box is tuned to within MP. The thing I cannot get working is the changing of channel in MP using the external channel tab and MPExTuneCmd plug-in. What does CVBS#1 stands for? I assume it is Composite Video ??? ????? but it is just my guess. Anyway, thanks for trying to help. I still think it is my use or set up of MPExTuneCmd. Any other thoughts?
