Hi. I am trying to rip some very poor quality CDs onto my laptop using MPTagThat. When it hits an unreadable track it seems to go into an unbreakable loop with the CD/DVD clicking away trying to read the bad track. Is there any way of stopping this without stopping the program and without losing the tracks already successfully read?
By the way this is a great piece of software, Thank you. I am in process of tagging hundreds of albums stunningly easily thanks to this software.

tbh, i couldn't find a CD to test such a scenario.
The tracks ripped so far should be in the target folder. you want loose them,

Did the "Cancel Rip" button do any action?

I think there are two issues but I'm not sure. Firstly clicking anything results in the message that MPTagThat isn't responding do I want to wait until it does or just close it. Leaving it changes nothing. Closing it stops it completely. Either way (possible second issue) no already completed tracks are saved! I checked with a scan of mp3 files created that day but nothing there.
