And yes, I´m from germany :D

Back to my problem.

After I tried and errored couples times and spend 2 days ( more than 35 hours ), I stopped the projekt.
My Hardware isn´t able to handle MediaPortal and the TV Server. And my TV Cards gave me the rest...they not really running good.

Thank you for your answers. I will follow the Media Portal and next year, I´ll start it again.

Happy new year guys!!

Hi guys, I have the same error.

Can anyone of you guide on how to do this?
I have successfully connected to the database but I cannot find any 'program' table and apparently searching doesn't seem to work the way I thought...

    TIA
    P.

I'm using 1.1.0 beta and also see an exception about "column notify in table program" not existing.
Is this a problem with the MPTVClient ?
Or a problem with the MediaPortal database ?

if the MediaPortal database has changed (some tables no longer exist etc...) will the MPTVClient be updated to use the new database schema ?

I accept that there is a "workaround" for this at the minute, but manually adding columns/tables is not a very user friendly long-term solution...

    Thanks.

    When you get this error:
... exception about "column notify in table program" not existing..

you can do the following as workaround:
    *run mysql administrator
*change to ?catalog? (Katalog in german), then to mptvdb
    *doubleclick table program
*add the column notify in the table program with the data type TINYINT(1)

I am sorry, but i won't support this tool any longer since MPWebServices runs fine and does what MPTvClient does + much more.

MPWebServices wont work unless you've upgraded to the beta 1.1 version of MP which I am a bit worried about doing as 1.02 is the official version and runs great for me.....

    Hi gemx,
is there a way to restrict the webservices users to certain tv-tuners?
Reason why I am asking: I have 2 DVB-S and 2 DVB-T cards and would like to only allow the DVB-T cards to "the public".

so i have a mysql server and all the table names are in lowercase, yet the mptvclient searches for ChannelGroup table which it cannot find. is there a way to fix this?
