Which of course means that all of my standard mp3s only come out of the front 2 speakers.</p><p> </p><p>With upmix on it sounds like all the channels are upmixed and when the system volume is changed it makes popping noises (very strange), but all other files play perfectly. With upmix off the 5.1 ch flac sounds absolutely awesome and does not make any popping noises when the system volume is adjust3ed, but all the other files sound terrible (as they only come out the front speakers).</p><p> </p><p>I'm using the Bass engine, should it be ignoring upmix on multi channel audio?</p><p> </p><p><edit>P.S.
