i have bluray and dvd movies as video files and they are on multiple external drives. The movies are stored in the database but there is no way of knowing on which hard drive they are on. I have tried adding a number to the title of movie, example movie.1, number refers to the drive number that the movie is on. The problem with that is that when i add the number to the title i cannot longer use the movie poster. Each of my hard drives is marked with a number. Any suggestions?

Why you don't use the plugin "myfilms"?
I also have a lot of movies stored as video files in different hard drives (usb-and Upnp on the lan-). You just have to enter once the path for every film into the configuration module, and then, clicking on the film it just plays fine, you don't need to remember in witch HD it is!
